The 2016 Lake-Geauga Fast Track 50 event will be held Nov. 3 at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites LaMalfa in Mentor beginning at 5:30 p.m. with dinner, keynote speaker and awards programs at 7 p.m. The Lake-Geauga Fast Track 50 honors fifty companies and individuals in Lake and Geauga counties nominated to compete as one of the premier companies in Geauga and Lake Counties who have shown growth and change to contribute to their business success. The Fast Track 50 Committee meets throughout the year to work with local businesses and coordinate the business recognition program.
Geauga County businesses who are finalists in the running for this year’s top awards are Al’s Plumbing, Great Lakes Outdoor Supply and Hauser Services based in Middlefield, Aqua Doc Lake & Pond Management, Company 119, E2B Teknologies, and NMS Inc. & Affiliates in Chardon, Exscape Designs from Chesterland, Geauga Mechanical in Hambden, Lowe’s Greenhouse in Bainbridge, and O’Reilly Equipment in Newbury.
A highlight of the 24th annual awards ceremony will be the announcement of the Top 5 companies in the Established and the Emerging categories, ending with the naming of the number one company in each of those categories. The keynote speaker for the 2016 event and awards dinner will be Pat Perry, President of ERC in Highland Heights for the past 18 years. He is responsible for the company’s overall operations and strategic direction.
Fast Track 50 started in 1992 to draw attention to the unique businesses in Lake and Geauga Counties and to support these companies, their products and services. Over 350 of this region’s business-savvy professionals are expected to gather to share in an evening of networking, camaraderie and celebration of economic success.
