The Kiwanis Club of East Geauga serves children and families of Middlefield, Burton and surrounding communities. Representatives from birthright attended the Kiwanis Club of East Geauga meeting on April 4 to accept the donations collected during Random Acts of Kindness week February 12 through 18. Eight locations in the area volunteered as collection sights which resulted in 35 bags filled with diapers, bottles, blankets, hats and other items. The generosity of the community is greatly appreciated.
The Kiwanis Club of East Geauga is looking for individuals who want to volunteer for projects that benefit the community. Meetings are held every Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at The Dutch Country Restaurant, 15015 Kinsman Road in Middlefield. The first Fish Fry Fundraiser will take place at a new location in the Cardinal Middle School from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28.
