The Geauga Faith Rescue Mission would like to thank all the volunteers and patrons who helped make the spaghetti dinner fundraiser on May 13, a success. A special thank you to the Chardon United Methodist Church for allowing GFRM access to their community room and to Paula Geiss and Ann Creagh for organizing the dinner. Without our friends and neighbors who share our vision and purpose, the more than $3,000 raised would not have been possible.
The main purpose of GFRM is to provide a shelter and support for those who are homeless within Geauga County. A fundraiser will be held Saturday, Oct. 7 at Notre Dame in Munson. Tickets will be on sale soon but donations of silent auction and Chinese raffle items are being solicited now. Contact one of the following Board members if you have any questions or have an item to donate: Mike Farrell at email@example.com, Jonathan Tiber at firstname.lastname@example.org, Nathan Long at email@example.com, Christopher Pierce at firstname.lastname@example.org, Eric Gockel at email@example.com.
