There are two new faces heading the administrative team at Destination Geauga headquartered in Middlefield: Melinda Kerr, a Chardon resident and Laura Zigman from Parkman. Kerr has a sales and marketing background, and office administration experience and Zigman offers office administration experience and education in tourism. Prior to this, Jennifer Cooper was manning the office. “We really appreciate what Jennifer did before we got here,” said Kerr.
The duo hit the job running. They are currently wrapping up content for Membership Packets, collecting info for the Visitors Guide, and planning a monthly newsletter for members. “Members wanting their 2018 events included in the Visitors Guide, must submit before Oct. 12,” said Zigman.
They have already met with some members, but within the next month plan to stop by and personally meet all members. “We would love to attend as many of our members’ events as possible,” said Kerr. The annual all members’ meeting is scheduled for Jan. 31, 2018.
