Mitten Tree

Fourth grader William G. won a pizza party for himself and a few friends after donating to the Mitten Tree at Jordak Elementary School. The Mitten Tree project is done in each building during December and collects items for animals at the Geauga County Rescue Village.

Last week students in all buildings participated in the Animal Mitten Tree Event. Students were asked to bring in donations for animals waiting to be adopted at the Geauga County Rescue Village. Everyone who donated had their name entered into a drawing for the chance to win a pizza party for themselves and a couple of friends at lunch before winter break. At the elementary the student winner was fourth grader William G. The CMS winners were Alydia D. and teacher Mrs. Claudia Laitman and at CHS Mrs. Beth Drebus won herself a free lunch! Thank you to everyone who brought in items for our furry, four-legged friends at the Rescue Village!
