Neil Cunningham from The Lubrizol Corporation will be the guest speaker at the upcoming Geauga Safety Council meeting on Friday, Feb. 1, presenting topics concerning safety culture, safe work permits and emergency response.
Cunningham has been employed at the Painesville, Ohio facility for a little more than 10 years and is a proud employee who enjoys what he does. He has multiple responsibilities at the plant with primary title of section six-day operator. He is an active member of the plant’s emergency response organization which includes the titles of firefighter, EMT, hazardous materials/weapons of mass destruction technician, rope rescue technician and some industrial firefighting certifications. He is a lead internal auditor helping Lubrizol with plant processes and compliance and is currently an active team member of a group that was recently created to restructure and satisfy the safe work permit processes and participates in many health and safety initiatives.
Meetings are held at the Huntsburg Community Center, 12406 Madison Road in Huntsburg (44064). Doors open 11:15 a.m. and the meeting ends 1 p.m. Cost to attend for members is $20 and for non-members $25. Registration is required. Contact Sue at firstname.lastname@example.org.
