Fun and games for our CMS sixth graders who all got a lesson in economics after hosting their first Carnival April 5. Students in Mrs. Gwen Santoro’s classes were asked to come up with a business plan to create a game for the event. They had to determine what, how, and for whom to produce the games for students then kept track of their expenses and determined the price of their games. Families were invited to come to the middle school to participate in the carnival and students then calculated whether they made a profit or lost money based on how many people played their games. Students came up with some really great ideas and had lots of success! Great job everyone!
