To be recognized with a fifth straight Top Workplace award based solely on employee feedback should tell you all you need to know about a company. The Plain Dealer award, now in its 10th year, is conducted by Energage, LLC., a third party research partner that gathers anonymous employee feedback utilizing several aspects of workplace culture. Energage has been surveying and studying over 57,000 organizations since 2006. It was through this effort they established 15 “culture drivers” they discovered to be critical to the success of a company, including values, whether an employee feels appreciated, direction, meaningfulness of the job, and overall execution, to name a few.
When Jerry Saxion, Director of Operations was informed that HEXPOL received the award, he said “HEXPOL is honored to receive recognition as a Top Workplace for our Burton, Middlefield and Mogadore campuses. Receiving this recognition is a testament to the daily efforts and pride every associate takes in their contributions to our great organization. There is an enormous amount of respect and admiration among the entire team. We genuinely believe that you grow an organization by growing its people and through this we have confidence in the potential of all our associates and are indebted to their extraordinary contributions that enable us to be highly successful.”
In order to be competitive in today’s market, it is imperative that a company strive to provide the highest level of service and a great product. In order for this to be accomplished there must be employee pride and a strong attention to detail. Jerry stated, “This pride improves morale, creates a strong team and energizes the work environment. Equally important to the voices of upper management are the voices of the employees.
