In honor of our dedicated first responders on this 18 year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, a day in United States history we will never forget, the Middlefield Senior Center seniors collaborated on two sweet candy bar bouquet arrangements for the local emergency services providers. These gifts were created as a small token of gratitude and appreciation for the men and women dedicated to protecting and serving every member of the community despite the risks and difficulties they face every day.

Officer Brandon Gray from the Middlefield Police Department stopped at the Middlefield Senior Center on Ridgewood Drive to accept the police themed arrangement and visit with the seniors. Shortly after, a Middlefield Fire Department truck carrying Lt. Anderson, Travis Willis and John Sweeney stopped at the Senior Center on their return from a training exercise to graciously accept their candy bouquet and posed for photos with some of Middlefield’s seniors.
