No need to travel to Cleveland with your valuable guitar for expert repairs, upgrades and servicing. March 3 is the grand opening of Auburn Guitar at 12369 Kinsman Road, Building K, Suite 105 in the Newbury Business Park. Owner Mike Johnston has been playing guitar for 30 years and working on them for 25 years and he played in various Cleveland bands in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Johnston is a certified technician who can keep your electric, acoustic and bass guitars in peak playing condition and help you get the most out of your investment. He handles the highest quality components and does repairs, component upgrades, upgrade of less expensive guitars and specializes in guitar set ups.
For the past several years Johnston had been working out of his home in Auburn, but his business has grown too big for that location. This new location will allow him to do repairs and also offer a retail section with picks, electrical components, strings, and guitar pick-ups.
“There is no local service for guitar repair,” said Johnston, “I will offer fair prices with realistic turnaround times.” The typical wait time at big box stores is generally quite a long time. He will separate himself with quick turn around and lower prices to encourage local musicians to trust him with their guitars, which he will treat as if they were his own.
Johnston invites everyone to the grand opening of Auburn Guitar on March 3. Business hours are Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Customers can stop in, call 440-384-0416 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
