Every year, members of the Rotary Club of Burton Middlefield are gracious enough to gift our third grade scholars with dictionaries. This year is no different. The Class of 2029 received their dictionaries Feb. 13. Rotarian Bob Varga spent time talking to the class, explaining how the dictionaries work and noting the additional information that could be found in these particular ones – including state information, lists of Presidents and American Sign Language. (Several of our scholars really enjoyed practicing the ASL alphabet.) We are grateful to the Rotary for providing this valuable resource to our scholars, it is greatly appreciated and something they will be able to use for years to come.
